I have made this slice a few times now and it has got to be one of the yummiest things I have ever created! And its not gooey, doesn’t contain chocolate and has some elements of healthy eating! Is it just me or has the world turned upside down?
I’m not the only one to share in this obsession with this Plum and Pear Slice. My family all absolutely love this and it is gone in a flash! The base is similar to that of a shortbread but it uses almond meal to really amp up the flavour and texture. to top the base, a little Black Doris plum jam and sliced fresh or tinned pears.
