Instructions
Cookie Dough;
Beat the butter, icing sugar, brown sugar, vanilla extract and milk together.
Beat in the flour and the mini chocolate chips.
Roll the dough into 12 balls and place them on a tray in the freezer for at least half an hour.
While the cookie dough is freezing, make the chocolate cookies.
Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a baking tray with baking paper.
Beat the butter, brown sugar and sugar together until fluffy.
Beat in the vanilla and egg.
Finally beat in the cocoa, flour, baking powder and baking soda.
Take the cookie dough balls out of the freezer and grab a chunk of the chocolate cookie dough.
Flatten the piece of dough in your hands and place a cookie dough ball in the middle.
Wrap the chocolate cookie dough around the ball and place on the baking tray.
Repeat with the remaining dough.
Bake the cookies for around 15 minutes. The cookies will have spread a little and the outside will still be soft but look set.
