Malteser Cookie Bars
Malteser Cookie Bars are chewy and gooey, packed full of malt, chocolate and Maltesers to make these taste like Maltesers in cookie bar form.

Instructions
Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and line an 8"x8" baking pan with baking paper.
In large bowl, stir together the melted butter, brown sugar and sugar.
Add in the egg, vanilla extract and maple syrup and mix well.
Add in the malted milk powder, flour, cornflour, baking soda and baking powder and mix until well combined.
Stir in chocolate chips and chopped Maltesers.
Pour into the prepared baking pan and smooth into an even layer.
Top with additional chocolate chips and Maltesers if you desire and place in the oven.
Bake for around 15-20 minutes (bars will be lightly golden on the top and sides but may appear slightly underdone in the middle.
