Caramilk Chocolate Layer Brownies combine a caramilk brownie base with a rich and fudgy chocolate brownie top. The sweet and delicate flavours of the caramilk brownie blend with the rich flavours of the dark chocolate in perfect harmony.
Today's recipe is a new favourite of mine. The soft caramilk brownie mixed with the fudgy chocolate brownie is just a wonderful pairing.
I used my caramilk brownies recipe and my classic fudgy brownies recipe as the base for today's recipe. With a few tweaks along the way.
As always with my caramilk recipes, if you can't get your hands on Cadbury caramilk, you can use any other caramelised white chocolate brand. I have seen there is a Nestle version now!
Or alternatively, you can use white chocolate though you will miss the unique caramel like flavour that caramelised white chocolate brings.
How to Make the Caramilk Chocolate Layer Brownies
The recipe for these are very simple.
You only need two bowls, a saucepan and a mixing spoon.
I like to make the caramilk brownies first and put them as the bottom layer as the batter for the caramilk brownies is thicker and more sturdy. The batters won't then mix together when pouring over the chocolate brownie batter.
