**Post and photos updated February 2019** These KitKat Chocolate Chip Cookies have been a taste tester favourite and one of my favourites for years so a post and photo update was in order! As well as a fun new video tutorial.
KitKat Chocolate Chip Cookies: Soft and chewy with a lightly crisp outside chocolate chip cookies packed full of broken KitKats. I served these at a get together and they were gone in moments!
These are based off my Chocolate Chip Cookie recipe which is always a great hit! These cookies work every single time for me and the only time they didn't was when I forgot to add a cup of flour..... Not one of my finer moments and yes, even baking bloggers make mistakes. In fact we I make a lot along the way. I always try to turn making mistakes into a positive thing. You make a mistake, you learn from it, you grow from it and then you will be better and more informed for the next time.
These cookies come together in one bowl and are ready in just 20 minutes! Giving you more time to put your feet and relax. My holiday back home in New Zealand has reached its end and I'm heading back to Australia for to start University again... Time is flying! February already?!
I also have a FREE eBook when you sign up to my mailing list to receive my recipes straight to your inbox so you never miss a recipe!
You will notice the method in the video doesn't match the method written. The method that I usually follow and suggest you do to is the method written in the recipe card where you cream the butter and sugars together, etc. If you have less time you can use the method in the video by throwing all the ingredients in a bowl and melting the butter to mix through the mixture. This method is great if you just need to throw some cookies together in two seconds flat and both do work.
I hope you enjoy these KitKat Chocolate Chip Cookies and I truly hope you give this recipe a go and remember to rate and report back your results in the comments below. I love reading your comments!
