It's officially November..... I feel like I just blinked and suddenly it's the end of the year and nearly Christmas! Oh well, at least Christmas gives me more excuses to bake some more yummy treats.
The beginning of November also means Halloween has now been and gone. Did you celebrate Halloween? Dress up or watch scary movies?
I didn't actually do anything for Halloween apart from watch a couple of scary movies and munch on these Bleeding Gooey Butter Cake Stuffed Chocolate Cookie Cups but that isn't out of the ordinary for me! Eating and watching movies is one of my favourite past times.
However, after Halloween I know a lot of you will have leftover candies and chocolates filling up your shelves so I have created the perfect recipe for you. These Leftover Halloween Candy Blondies are my favourite blondie recipe (also featured here and here) packed full of different candy bars and confectionery. These are ooey gooey, a chocolate lovers dream and completely over-the-top delicious!
The gooey chocolate is certainly enough to sell me on these bars and the great thing is you can use any candy bars in these. Mars Bars, Snickers, Rolos, Kit Kats, M&Ms, Crunchies, Maltesers, Milky Ways.... The list goes on!
If gooey chocolate, candy and blondies are your thing (who are we kidding, of course they're your thing!), then these are the bars for you. These are incredibly easy to make and come together in under an hour. Just imagine biting into a piece of these straight out of the oven! Ah, bliss....
Last week was Brownie Week here on LCB and I had a blast. If you missed brownie week, make sure you go back and check out those recipes. Especially this one.....
