Chocolate Pudding Cookies. Thick and chewy chocolate pudding cookies using chocolate pudding mix right into the cookie dough mixture complete with chocolate chips!
By now you will know I love using pudding mix in cookies. We've made Vanilla Pudding Cookies and White Chocolate Butterscotch Pudding Cookies. Not to mention my Gooey Butterscotch Cookie Bars and Nutella Vanilla Pudding Bars!
Pudding mix is where its at!
When I say pudding mix I mean the packets of instant pudding. Like the ones you add milk to and they turn into a custard like pudding. Similar to this or this. I personally used Gregg's Chocolate Pudding Mix as that is what is available to me in my supermarket. But the other brands linked will work the same.
The reason I love using pudding mic in my cookies is the mix not only gives the classic pudding flavour but it ensures the cookies are super chewy. They're slightly crunchy on the outside but in the middle is an ultra chewy crumb. The flavour is pudding but the texture is chewy cookies.
Add in bursts of chocolate chips and you're on to a winner!
